Developer / Artist In my late teens, I developed a passion for diverse genres of music, which led me to discover MaxMSP software. At 26, I made a significant career pivot, leaving my corporate job to enroll in "a school that seemed like it would teach that sort of thing"—IAMAS (Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences). There, I seriously explored what it means to create sound when treating the computer not as a simulator of physical instruments like the piano, but regarding its inherent characteristics as the creative material itself. After graduating, the real-time responsive application development skills I had cultivated became the foundation of my career. In 2017, I founded Han Inc.
